Her work focuses on Chagas disease prevention and control, vector biology, climate change impacts on Aedes aegypti, arboviruses, and Triatoma virus (TrV).
She holds a PhD in Biological Sciences from Ohio University (2019) and multiple postgraduate degrees in infectious disease biology and teaching technologies.
