Her research applies statistical and mathematical models to study infectious disease spread and evaluate interventions, with a focus on Latin America.
She co-leads Epiverse TRACE-LAC, developing open-source tools for public health crises. She is also a WHO Collaboratory advisor and a commissioner for The Lancet Commission on Infectious Disease Modeling.
