Call for Proposals

2025 Call for Proposals

Convocatorias Climas Hub

CLIMAS will provide technical and financial support to projects that promote innovative ideas and concrete solutions to address the health challenges posed by climate change. These research-oriented projects must not only generate new knowledge but also translate it into actions, tools, capacities, and/or policies that benefit institutions, decision-makers, and communities across Latin America and the Caribbean—particularly those most vulnerable, including women, migrants, Indigenous peoples, Afro-descendant populations, rural communities, and groups living in poverty, among others.

The call will be open to consortia made up of community-based organizations, research centers, academic institutions/universities, and public or private sector organizations working in the fields of Climate Change and/or Health in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Initiatives must align with at least one of the following thematic areas:
  • Public policies on climate change and health with an intersectional approach.
  • Training of health workers to respond to climate-induced emergencies and disease outbreaks.
  • Data modeling and accessibility in climate change and health.
